PSYCHOTHERAPY + INTERNAL FAMILY SYSTEMS THERAPY
Supporting your growth and wellbeing, in London & online

How I work
You might be arriving at therapy feeling “stuck” in some way, facing a life crossroads, weighed down by unresolved pain or grief, or simply wanting to feel more at ease in yourself. You’re looking for a collaborative, warm, and honest space where you can explore these patterns, with gentle challenges when needed.
My approach is depth-oriented, focusing on understanding the deeper emotional patterns formed by early life experiences, rather than quick-fix strategies or surface-level solutions.
I mainly work using Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), which helps you connect with and heal the different parts of yourself—especially those carrying pain or protection—so you can build self-awareness, inner strength, and self-compassion.
As an Integrative Psychotherapist, I also draw on Psychodynamic, Person-Centred, Gestalt, Transpersonal, and Existential approaches. Creative methods like imagery, dreams, or drawing may also support your process, depending on your needs.
Throughout our work, I listen deeply, ask thoughtful questions, and help you uncover patterns that may be holding you back, so you can move forward with clarity, confidence, and resilience.
A bit about me
I’m originally from the US and have made the UK my home for the past 25 years. Before becoming a therapist, I lived a fast-paced life—first as a journalist and magazine editor, then as a founder of a successful events company, and later leading entrepreneurial ventures.
Those experiences gave firsthand insight into the pressures that come with creative and high-performance careers—the drive to achieve, the weight of responsibility, and the toll it can take on your wellbeing. Growing up in a military family, I also know what it means to be uprooted, moving between cities and countries, and starting over repeatedly.
After a lifetime in three major cities, I’ve recently settled in a quiet village along the River Thames just outside London. I split my time seeing clients in London three days a week while enjoying a slower pace of life by the water. Running, paddle-boarding, and tending my allotment help me stay grounded, and they remind me how important it is to find balance and connection in life.
These experiences shape how I work with you: I understand the pressures of high expectations, the challenges of transition, and the courage it takes to embrace change.
